The short version
Poseidon Solutions, LLC operates this portal. This site lets you enter a zipcode, see a water-quality report sourced from federal and independent databases, and (if you choose) ask us to follow up about residential water services. To do that follow-up, we need your contact information. If a real estate agent sent you here, that agent also receives the lead so they know their client engaged. We do not sell your data. We do not run advertising trackers on you. We try to say what we mean below.
Who runs this site
This site is operated by Poseidon Solutions, LLC (“Poseidon Solutions,” “we,” or “us”), a residential water services company. Poseidon Solutions is the consumer-facing brand. When this notice says “we,” it means Poseidon Solutions, LLC and its employees and contractors acting on its behalf.
What we collect
Information you give us
When you submit the lead form, we collect: your name, email address, phone number, street address, and the zipcode you looked up. We also retain a snapshot of the water-quality report tied to that address at the time you submitted, so we can refer to the same numbers you saw.
Information about how you arrived
If you arrived through a real estate agent's branded referral link, we capture which agent that was. This is stored in a small cookie called poseidon_ref so the attribution survives if you come back later in the same browser. If you did not arrive through an agent link, this cookie is not set.
Information collected automatically
We run Plausible Analytics, a privacy-respecting analytics tool that does not use cookies for tracking individuals, does not build a profile of you, and does not share data with advertisers. Plausible records aggregated counts of page views, referring sites, country-level location, and device type. We use it to know which pages are working, not to identify you.
How we use what we collect
We use the information you give us for these things:
- To contact you about residential water services — by email, phone, or text, using the contact details you provided.
- To send you the water-quality report you requested, including any follow-up clarification you ask for.
- To share your inquiry with the referring real estate agent, if applicable (see below).
- To send transactional emails about your inquiry or any service we provide you.
- To improve the portal — for example, knowing which reports users find most useful, in aggregate.
- To comply with law, respond to legal process, or protect our rights, our users, or the public if there is a real reason to.
Sharing with the referring agent
This is the most important section. Read it.
If you arrived at this site through a real estate agent's referral link and you submit the lead form, your full inquiry — your name, email, phone, address, the zipcode you looked up, and the resulting water-quality report — is shared with that agent. That is the whole point of the Real Estate Program: the agent gets to follow up with you about your home as well, and we get to follow up about your water.
If you did not arrive through an agent link, no agent receives anything. Your inquiry comes to Poseidon Solutions only.
The agent receives your information as an independent recipient, not as our service provider. Their use of your information is subject to their own practices, not this notice. If you do not want your inquiry shared with the referring agent, do not submit the form — or email hello@poseidonkingdom.com and we will route your inquiry to Poseidon Solutions only.
What we don't do with your data
- We do not sell your personal information. Not to data brokers, not to anyone.
- We do not share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
- We do not run third-party ad-retargeting pixels on this site.
- We do not use your information to train AI models or sell it for that purpose.
- We do not share with anyone except: the referring agent (above), service providers acting under contract on our behalf (hosting, email delivery), and legal process where required.
Cookies and similar tech
We use two things that count as “cookies and similar tech”:
poseidon_ref— a small cookie that stores the slug of the real estate agent whose link you clicked, so we can attribute the referral if you submit the form later. It expires in 90 days. You can clear it any time in your browser.- Plausible Analytics — an aggregate, privacy-respecting analytics tool. It does not set tracking cookies on your device and does not collect personally identifying information.
We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, or other advertising trackers on this site.
Where your data lives
The portal runs on Vercel (hosting) and Supabase (database and authentication). Email delivery runs through Resend. Each of these is a service provider acting under contract on our behalf. We have taken reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information — encryption in transit, access controls, least-privilege admin access — but no system connected to the internet is impossible to breach, and we will not pretend otherwise. If something does happen, we will notify affected users and the relevant authorities as required by law.
How long we keep it
We keep lead records for as long as we have an active or reasonably-anticipated business relationship with you, plus the period required by law (tax, accounting, dispute resolution). If you ask us to delete your information and we have no legal reason to keep it, we will.
Your rights
Regardless of where you live, you can ask us to do these things:
- Tell you what personal information we have about you.
- Correct anything that is wrong.
- Delete your information (subject to legal retention).
- Stop contacting you. (Unsubscribe links work; replying STOP to texts works; emailing us works.)
- Send us your information in a portable format.
Email hello@poseidonkingdom.com with the subject line “Privacy request” and we will respond within 30 days, or sooner if the law where you live requires it.
State-specific disclosures
California (CCPA / CPRA)
If you are a California resident, you have the rights listed above plus the right to know what categories of personal information we have collected, sold, or shared (we have not sold or shared your information in the CCPA sense — see “What we don't do,” above), the right to limit use of sensitive personal information (we do not collect what the CCPA calls “sensitive” personal information), and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights. To exercise any California right, email the address above with “California privacy request” in the subject line.
Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah (VCDPA / CPA / CTDPA / UCPA)
If you are a resident of Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, or Utah, you have substantially the same rights listed above under the privacy laws of your state. We do not process sensitive data within the meaning of those statutes, and we do not engage in “targeted advertising” or “profiling” for legally significant decisions, so the related opt-outs do not apply to anything we currently do. If that ever changes, this notice will change first.
Other states
If you live somewhere else and you want to make a request, send it to the same email address. We will treat it seriously regardless of jurisdiction.
Children
This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 13, we will delete it. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, email hello@poseidonkingdom.com.
Changes to this notice
If we change anything material — what we collect, who we share it with, how long we keep it — we will post the updated notice here with a new effective date, and we will announce the change at least 30 days before it takes effect. Minor edits (typos, clarifications) we will just make.
